We wanted to be involved

EmmausAs Christians we really wanted something different for our children as they started school - a place where we could have a say in what they learned and get involved in their education.

As Christians we were also concerned about the subtle influences that can be picked up in an environment where Jesus is not at the centre.

We heard from parents at Bethany School about a different approach to education - one in which families join together to educate their children where children are nurtured in a loving and Biblical environment.

Enthusiastic for this new vision of education we joined the New School Development Group that eventually became Emmaus School.  Committing to this new school felt like a huge step of faith, but we've never looked back.

Being part of Emmaus is a challenge, but like family life itself the rewards are truly worthwhile.
